WTC Sunwashed
“WTC Sunwashed” was taken in New York City in October of 2015 when I was visiting the new World Trade Center and the World Trade Center Memorial.
The Memorial was very well done – and very poignant. The names surrounding the large, WTC footprint-shaped void, water falling into the seemingly bottomless abyss. The whole of it bespeaks an eternal sadness that must never be forgotten.
The day I visited was one of those perfect fall afternoons – cool and crisp with a wash of brilliant sunshine that drenched everything in its glow.
