Songs in the Key of Big C Xt (Extended Version with 4 Bonus Tracks)

During the summer of 2019, I decided to do an official extended version of my compilation album, Songs in the Key of Big C. I wanted to increase the range of the project with radio edits, and if possible, some unplugged, acoustic versions of two of its songs, namely “Fate” and “Hey Waitress,” which, like most of my songs, are written just on vocal and guitar or vocal and piano.

After successfully locating an acoustic version of my song, “Fate,” which I found in the extensive musical hierarchy that comprises part of my cloud storage, I went for it. I really love listening to songs in their purest form…enjoy!

Totally jazzed by that, I also popped a couple of my favorite tunes from Songs into my post-production editor, Adobe Audition, and came up with a radio edit version of “Dream”…

…and a radio edit version of “An Oasis.”

After that, I felt pretty ambitious and revisited my original piano and vocal tracks for “Hey Waitress,” and arranged and mixed a very spare piano/vocal “unplugged”-style version, which took the song back to how I first wrote it:
